Brecon and Radnorshire MS James Evans attended the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society’s Winter Fair, meeting a variety of groups in addition to exploring everything the show has to offer.
Evans had discussions with groups including the Farmers’ Union of Wales, NFU Cymru, Mamwlad and BASC UK, covering a range of topics ranging from the upcoming Agriculture Bill to supporting the mental health of people in rural areas.
James said:
“It’s always a pleasure to attend the Royal Welsh Winter Fair, which shows the best of rural Wales.
“It was really important to meet with a variety of groups, and I was pleased to have productive conversations.
“The Winter Fair has shown that rural Wales is strong and resilient, but it’s clear that there are still challenges which we will face together.”
