James Evans MS has today welcomed school pupils from Rhayader to the Senedd in Cardiff Bay.
A group of pupils from Rhayader Church in Wales Primary School visited the Welsh Parliament building as part of an education into how the political system in Wales operates, providing them with insight into just how decisions regarding life in Wales are made.
James Evans, Senedd Member for Brecon and Radnorshire, said:
“It was lovely to chat and to take questions from the pupils at Rhayader Church in Wales Primary School. It was nice to see how engaged in politics were at their young age, and they had plenty of good questions to ask around the recent issues surrounding farming and the wider agricultural industry.
“It’s important that we listen to the next generation of young people coming through and what their top priorities are, as they are the ones who could ultimately be sitting where I am in the Senedd chamber in the not-too-distant future, making a difference to the local area.”
